Indeed, I'm quite overbooked with the barbeques, meeting with friends and laziness on the beach. And of course, the studies... (um). Because we’re approaching the D-Day, we do a lot of exam practice, with old exams from the previous years. We also practice the speaking exam in which we are with another student and two teachers to be tested. It's more difficult that we think, because despite the fact that I speak English every day, the expert always find the difficulty to make us have a bad time of it.
Otherwise, I enjoy at the most being with my friends that I met here. It's so interesting to see the different cultures. I’m a lot of the time with Coreans and Japanese. They are so nice and open-minded !
A few weeks ago, I eventually saw a koala apart from the Australian Zoo at the National Park. So cute !! It was eating some leaves just one meter above me. Obviously, it was the day which I had forgotten to take my camera… I also saw quite far away a dolphin and a turtle.
2 weeks ago, I spent a weekend in Brisbane. First feeling : Stifling. Skyscrapers and cars which don’t stop running everywhere …. I was really happy to have chosen Noosa then, even if some parts of the town weren’t so bad. And the inhabitants are so friendly ! We could stop to look up the map and then, 2 or 3 people stopped and started chatting ! The most interesting places that I visited were China Town, the botanic garden and Southern Bank, a walk along the river with some historical buildings, an art gallery and… an artificial beach !! (crazy Australians !!!). The tour on the river was very nice to do, but it was just a little bit a shame that some clouds prevented us from having good views of the city.
Concerning the school, my speaking examination will be on the 7th December, and the writing exams on the 12th December. On the 13th, I’m flying to Sidney and I’m spending two days there with a girlfriend that I met at school. Then I’m flying back to Brisbane and I’m taking the flight to go back to Switzerland on the 16th, to arrive in Geneva "a few hours" later on the 18th… !
The time will have gone quite quickly, but I have the feeling to have fully enjoyed my stay and I already know that I’ll come back to discover much more in depth this wonderful country and all its incredible wealth.
